The in vitro transmission frequency of the tn mutation in the mouse
نویسندگان
چکیده
Male mice which are heterozygous for a recessive lethal mutation ( + /t) transmit the t mutation in non-Mendelian ratios. In the present studies, spermatozoa obtained from + /t males were used to fertilize ova from + /t females in vitro. The frequency of transmission of the t mutation determined from these in vitro studies was compared with the frequency of transmission of this mutation in normal and delayed matings. The data show that the transmission frequency of the t mutation, in vitro, is Mendelian and is the same as the transmission frequency of the t mutation in vivo when matings are delayed until the time of ovulation.

Species of pathogenic fungi Alternaria SPP developed early blight disease on potato. In order to evaluate the resistance levels of wild diploid accessions of National Plant Gene bank of Iran, a factorial randomized complete design with three replications was performed in National Plant Gene Bank under in vitro and greenhouse condition during 2007-2008 and disease symptoms were recorded. Based o...
متن کاملI-54: New Models for Human and Mouse Genetic
The possibility to reprogram somatic human cells will greatly and deeply change genetic approach and allow the development of new tools to study genetics diseases. Indeed, our ability to study human genetic diseases suffers from the lack of valid in vitro models. The latter should (i) be originating from human primary cells, (ii) be able to self-renew for a long time and (iii) be able to differ...
متن کاملEffects of Odontobuthus Doriae Scorpion Venom on Mouse Sciatic Nerve
Temporary paralysis is a rare manifestation of envenoming following the yellow Iranian scorpion, Odontobuthus doriae (O. doriae). Thus, to elucidate the underlying mechanism, we investigated the neurotoxic effect of venom in the sciatic nerve, the possible mechanism in a mice model. The neurotoxicity and temperature effects in the venom-induced neurotoxicity were examined using the mouse sciati...

متن کاملEffects of Black Scorpion Androctonus crasicuda Venom on Striated Muscle Preparation in vitro.
Effects of venom from black scorpion Androctonus crasicuda (AC) were determined on isolated chick biventer cervices nerve-muscle and mouse hemidiaphragm preparations using twitch tension method. The isolated nerves were stimulated by electrical stimulator and response to each stimulus was recorded. The venom mainly acted prejunctionally to facilitate neuromuscular activity due to an increase in...
